What is the POC (Point of Control)?

The POC is the price where SPY traded the most volume in the session — the market's "fair value" magnet. Price often gravitates back to it, and a break away from it on volume can signal a trend.

Value Area High & Low (VAH / VAL)

The value area is the price range that contained ~70% of the session's volume. VAH and VAL are its upper and lower edges — common intraday support/resistance. Trading inside the value area is "balance"; accepting price outside it can mark a breakout or breakdown.

Prior-Day High / Low

Yesterday's high and low are heavily-watched reference points. They frequently act as targets, stop-run liquidity, and the first defended levels at the open.
